Easter Egg ColoringMarch 21, 2008 on 5:00 am | In Holidays | No CommentsFor those who want to dye Easter eggs naturally, I have a few resources for you. Instead of retyping the instructions here, visit the sites below. http://www.dltk-holidays.com/easter/natural.htm – They also have other great tips for decorating Easter eggs. http://whatscookingamerica.net/Eggs/EasterEggDye.htm But beware, eggs are still porous and tend to take on the flavors of the dye. Blueberry eggs? Yuck. For me, I still like hard-boiled eggs. But instead of hard-boiling 2 dozen and trying to eat them before they go bad, I’ll just keep making them a few at a time. Another way to decorate eggs without eating food coloring is to blow the middle out and then decorate the shells anyway you want. Here are a few sites for that… http://sunnisan.com/crafts/eggblowing.html http://www.parentingideas.org/articles/crafts-and-activities/how-to-blow-out-an-egg/ Happy Easter from the Professional Expert and Mrs. Professional Expert!
